Gleadless Primary School is looking to appoint a School Manager to complete its administrative team. We are a two form entry school with over 400 pupils on roll, situated to the south east of Sheffield. This position is an opportunity to join our hardworking, ambitious team, playing a key role in taking our school from strength to strength.
We are looking for an efficient, flexible and well organised person who is highly motivated and works hard to make a difference for the children and families in our community.
As the School Manager you would be responsible for HR working alongside the schools current provider, and premises management with the site staff, health and safety, administration and an element of financial management. You will advise on systems and processes and, when required, implement these to support the school to operate effectively and efficiently.
In order to do this you will need to have the ability to work to deadlines, be motivated, able to use your own initiative, work well under pressure and have a relentless drive for excellence. Strong communication skills are also essential; the successful post holder will be required to communicate well using a variety of methods across all levels within the school and with wider stakeholders.

We are currently working with Sheffield South East Trust and are consulting on joining their existing successful group of schools in the near future. This will provide many opportunities to work alongside experienced School Business Managers and trust finance staff who will be able to offer support, guidance and future development for the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS Disclosure in line with
Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
