Job Role: Warehouse Operative - 6 month FTC
Hours – Mon – Fri 8:00am – 16:30pm (with 30 min early finish Friday)
Salary – Starting at £11.25 per hour

We have great opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team, in 2021 we distributed over 3.2 million products, and this is increasing year on year.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to go perm at our distribution warehouse in St Modwen Park, Stonehouse. Located off Junction 12 on the M5, opposite Dobbies Garden Centre GL10 3EX
You will be:
- Appropriately moving stock in both picking and bulk storage areas
- Picking and packing stock
- Assisting with the physical unloading of stock arriving into the warehouse as well as the moving of stock from one location to another within the business
- Comfortable with manual handling (no more than 15/20kg a box)
- Comfortable with working at height on Mezzanine floors.
- Able to work to targets so that we can ensure all our deliveries are out on time
- Competent in reading and speaking in English
- Experience of using a WMS (experience with Oracle would be advantageous)
- Any other reasonable requests that your manager may ask you to complete.
If you have experience of driving a Forklift, HLOP. MLOP, Bendi or VNA that would be a great addition, however we will train the successful candidates in house if required.
