Area Security Officer - Northampton / Wellingborough

Day / Nights / Weekends

£11.42 per hour (circa £26,000 - £32,000 per annum)

Driving license and own vehicle required

48 minimum per week, permanent position

Rotating through posts during your shifts keeps things interesting and your duties will include internal and external patrols, airport style searches of staff and visitors, and gatehouse duties / meeting and greeting responsibilities. You’ll ensure visitors and staff are in a safe environment by de-escalating situations in a firm but respectful manner.

This position will cover days, nights and weekends Monday to Sunday based between 2 sites, in Northampton and Wellingborough therefore flexibility is essential. A full UK driving licence and your own transport is essential.

This position will involve travelling to different sites across Northampton and surrounding areas. Your main responsibility is to ensure the safety of our customers staff, visitors and assets whilst providing execellent customer service at the same time.

This position will cover days, nights and wekeends Monday to Sunday therefore flexibility is essential.

• Greeting staff and visitors
• Ensuring everyones follows the safety and security protocols of the sites
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrols of the premises - both internal and external
• Dealing with any security incidents on site

It would be great if you have an SIA licence or experience in security, but if not then full training will be provided, plus you will be paid for attending the course. What’s crucial is your great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you’ll need to be tech savvy enough to use our digital devices.
