The role
Fugro is recruiting for an Assistant Laboratory Proposal and Project Manager to join the team based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Your role will be involved in leading low complexity projects (including the proposal phase) by applying effective communication and principles of project governance and control in such a way that the QHSSE, technical, commercial and contractual requirements are met. You will also assist project managers to ensure both effective and efficient execution of the project.

- Can work efficiently and accurately with a wide range of internal departments whilst building relationships with them.
- You have a strong eye for detail.
Who you’ll be working with:
On a daily basis you will be working closely with a team of Project Managers and engineers along with Geotechnical and Geophysical representatives.
Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- Building professional relationships with various people such as the Project Delivery Managers and Senior Project Managers.
- You will play a key role in leading project teams on low complexity projects and work packages.
- You will also be guided by more senior Project Managers and Project Delivery Managers.
- Continuously developing knowledge of professional principles and practices.
- You will also utilise your experience of leading Project Complexity 1 projects.
Please note that whilst this position requires a 37.5hr week, the company can offer hybrid working and may be able to offer flexibility around working hours and would be happy to discuss this at interview. However, overtime will be required from time to time.
