About Friars Pride
We are a successful family-owned business that spans over three generations. We supply Fats & Oils, Frozen Foods, Ambient Foods, and Fish into the Fish & Chip, Fast Food, Catering and Bakery sectors. We have grown to become a premier supplier with a fleet of vehicles delivering to the Midlands, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, the East, the South, the South East, and the South West of England. We have grown over the years and now employ up to 200 people across the UK.
About the position

Having gone from strength to strength we are now looking to further improve our customer service offering and as a result are recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced warehouse operatives to join our Peterborough depot. In addition to working in the warehouse there will be an opportunity to do occasional van deliveries and there is an opportunity for you to obtain your LGV Class 2 licence in the future with Friars Pride.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced warehouse operative or someone looking to forge out a long-term rewarding career working for a very successful business.
What will you be doing?
- Freezer working
- Putting stock away when delivered.
- Replenishing pick areas
- Using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Keeping accurate records
- Stock management
- Complying with health and safety requirements
- Cleaning the warehouse
- Maintaining equipment
- Making a difference
Requirements
- Working in a team.
