Quality Inspector (chilled food factory)

Forrester (Sales) Ltd is looking for a QA Inspector to join their team.

Hours are: Twilight (1430 - 23:00)

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience

Responsible for but not limited to:

• Checking products on the production lines for quality and ensuring product compliance with specification, food safety and legal requirements.
• To ensure all documents and paperwork are checked, verified and filed.
• Where appropriate relevant corrective actions must be taken (including HOLD procedure when required).
• Investigate (where necessary identifying root cause) and report accordingly any non-conformances.
• Liaise with Production Managers and Supervisors to ensure the highest standard of food safety and quality.
• Liaise with the Technical Management in order to maintain and develop the quality management system to the BRC standard and ensure all CCP’s are monitored at all time.

• Ideally have experience working in a factory environment.
• Have a “No problem” mentality
