As part of our Income Maximisation team, you’ll deliver a high-quality income maximisation service to tenants. You’ll take recovery action, represent at court, negotiate repayments, and offer advice and assistance.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing tenant-focussed rent and other debt collection services
- Managing a caseload of accounts, working with tenants to maximise their income and manage their budgets effectively
- Carrying out visits to tenants’ homes
- Liaising with third parties including the housing benefits department and DWP
- Supporting tenants to repay debts, negotiating payment in full or in affordable and reasonable instalments
- Referring tenants to relevant external agencies such as welfare rights and debt advice organisations
- Collaborating with Sheltered Housing Scheme Wardens regarding payment of debts
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Knowledge of housing legislation and rent recovery procedures
