We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Support Assistant who thrives in a fast paced business environment to join our team to provide facilities service desk for our client based at Reckitt Hull.
This involves direct telephone and email contact with customers and suppliers.

THE ROLE
As a laboratory support assistant you will be responsible for;
- Daily replenishment of lab consumable items
- Daily replenishment and removal of laboratory garments
- Daily removal and disposal of glass, solvent and contaminated waste from assigned lab areas
- Daily delivery of parcels from laboratory stores to assigned areas
- Receiving and actioning email requests via the laboratory support shared inbox in a timely manner
- Acting as a point of contact for customer queries and requests
- Daily functionality checks of laboratory weighing balances, escalating issues as appropriate
- Dispensation and distribution of requested laboratory reagent standards, internally and externally
- Porterage of pallets and raw material items for area users as required
- Assistance in scheduled GMP cleaning activities (clean rooms, pallets, ovens etc)
- To be responsible for the maintenance of personal training file, attending all relevant training
- To backfill duties of other members of the laboratory support team as reasonably requested
- To attend team and client meetings as required
- To carry out any further ad hoc tasks at the request of management
JOB DETAILS
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Hourly rate: £10.90
Location: Reckitt Hull, HU8 7DS
