About us
Finest Aquatics are an established distributor of pond, aquatic and filtration products and have been trading since 2011. Our online presence has grown year upon year and we are looking to recruit a supervisor to overlook the picking and packing element of the business. The successful candidate must have previous picking and packing experience, ideally of an ecommerce nature and will display credentials fit for a supervisory role within a small team.
Job Summary
This is a hands on Full Time role in which you will work alongside and overlook the current staff. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Overlooking and picking stock from various locations within the warehouse to fulfil online orders each day from our various ordering platforms – website, Amazon, eBay etc. - ensuring accuracy to maintain correct stock levels and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Overlooking and packaging orders to a high standard using our warehouse management system and using online carrier systems to create and print shipping labels for both UK and international destinations.
- Process shipping manifests where required and ensure parcels are ready for collection with the relevant couriers at the correct times throughout the day.
- Make sure work/packing stations are fully equipped and kept tidy at all times to health and safety standards.
- Overlook and maintain our Amazon FBA Inventory, ensuring items are correctly labelled and shipped as required.
- Unload shipping containers and ensure stock is stowed away accurately.
The ideal candidate will have a positive, flexible attitude to work, with a drive to meet and beat targets and will encourage and motivate others to do so too. They will have a friendly and polite manner, will take pride in doing their job to a high standard and will be keen to support the Senior management in growing and developing the department to be as successful as can be.
This role is a fulltime position working 8am to 5pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. You will be expected to work one Saturday every 4 weeks 8am – 1pm.
This position is based at Unit 16 Montague Road, Widnes, WA8 8FZ. Please note we are not accessible by public transport or by foot, therefore own transport is required.

Salary: £11.30-£12.50 per hour
