Field and Lawn Ltd are a national company made up of four divisions: Event Marquee hire, Industrial Structures, Festive Lighting and Placemaking. With bases in Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, and London, we have seen consistent growth each year across all our divisions. In 2020 we adapted our business after restrictions were imposed on events and (despite COVID-19) we had our most successful year since we started 35 years ago. We are continuing this progress into 2022 and are looking to hire dynamic people to help continue our growth.

Working across all our divisions your work will be varied with no week being the same. One week you might be building event marquees for a large sporting event, the next week you could be operating a cherry picker and installing Festive Lights. As a result, we are looking for offering rates of pay starting at £12.50/hour (average 42-48 hours per week) and salary packages to suit to find the people that are right for our organisation. This will be a unique and diverse role within the industry, and we are committed to developing the right person through training and experience into a competent all-rounder, incorporating Festive Lights, Placemaking, Event Marquees and Industrial Structures into their skill set.

To be successful in this varied role you will need to be an excellent communicator and a great team member. In addition, we expect you to be fit and energetic, have a willingness to learn and enjoy working outside. We are passionate about developing our employees and can offer extensive training and the opportunities to learn new skills. In return, we expect you to take pride in what you deliver whilst having customer satisfaction, efficiency and health and safety standards at the top of your list.

The following skills/attributes are essential:

· Willing to work outdoors

· Able to recognise potential risks and work safely as a team member

· Be an excellent team player

· Able to motivate yourself to work on your own at times

· Ability to lead a small team

· Confident in having conversations with clients and member of the public

· Smart and presentable always

· Flexible to work predominantly Monday to Friday however also weekends when required during busy periods

. Some nights away are required but this is all expenses paid.

The following skills/attributes are preferred

· Full UK driving license with 2 years driving experience (rates of pay will differ for candidates who do not fulfil this criteria) We also have opportunities for non-licence holders

Previous experience working outdoors, in the construction or events industry is desirable but not essential.
