Are you looking for an exciting new challenge that will allow you to demonstrate your skills and share your experience within a fast-paced and dynamic working environment?

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Training & Awareness Lead to join our Cyber Security team to work with teams across the business to develop their awareness and commitment to cyber security and promote a proactive security mindset.

Sound interesting? At Evri we encourage flexible working that fits the individual as well as the team, whether that be from the office, from home or a mixture of both. Let us know your preference in your application form, as well as the working pattern you’re looking for e.g. full or part-time hours – we will do our best to accommodate your request, wherever possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing, reviewing, implementing, and maintaining a risk-based security awareness and training strategy and annual programme, targeted to manage human risks across different areas of the business, determining the methods used to maximise impact of this programme.
  • Identifying and evaluating the top human cyber security risks to the business, and behaviours that need to change to manage those risks through internal and external research.
  • Creating a metrics framework to determine the effectiveness of the awareness and training programme, and employee compliance with training.
  • Ensuring employees and third parties understand and acknowledge applicable cyber security policies, whilst proactively creating opportunities that encourage employees to move beyond acknowledgement of policies and towards adopting a security mindset.
  • Ensuring security awareness trainings and communications are on brand, Comms-aligned, engaging and influence changes in employees’ behaviour
  • Reporting upon the effectiveness of the security awareness and training programme to senior stakeholders.
  • Working with managers across the business on a risk-basis to drive the embedding of good security behaviours.
  • Establishment of a Cyber Security Champion Programme around the business to promote good security behaviours across teams.
  • Driving regular campaigns that mitigate key threats and risks to Evri e.g. phishing.
  • Working with the L&D team to ensure the training programme is aligned to the wider business approach.

Your Experience

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience, preferable in similar role and/or either Communications, Marketing, or similar fields
  • Demonstrable experience in technical training or adult education
  • Experience and/or a genuine interest in cyber security.
  • An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood and actionable manner
  • An ability to effectively influence and convince others to make appropriate changes in their priorities and behaviours for the benefit of the organisation
  • An ability to coordinate activities on behalf of Cyber Security with HR, Risk Management, and Compliance functions
  • Decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
  • Confidence, and an energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills
