Drivers - Class 1 Driver

THE ROLE: Class 1 Driver EV Cargo are looking for HGV Drivers to join our team in Yate on Days/Nights on various shifts including a 4 on 4 off rota. Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road. Location This role will be either night or day shift with various shift patterns (including a 4 on 4 off rota) and based at our site in Yate (BS37 5AP). KEY RESPONSIBILITES: • Various HGV driving duties • General haulage duties • Trunking store deliveries • Driving independently or alongside a banksman or rep. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Qualifications.

A Level 2 in English & Maths. HGV Class 1 Licence, Moffett/FLT Licence is preferrable but not essential. Experience. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Scanning Experience. Computer/IT experience including apps and Windows products. Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.

Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. Planning & Organisation.

Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature. Proven ability to work on own initiative. People & Self Development.
