• Growing business with excellent tenure across the business. Nobody has left the business for over 10 years due to the culture / opportunities in house.

• Seeking someone with good dexterity and previous mechanical assembly skills. Products are fairly low volume in nature so this is not a repetitive assembly role.

• Days based, Permanent role, Flexi time model and overtime readily available at x1.5 rate.

We are seeking an experience Assembly Operative or Technician to help support the build of mechanical products that house electronic components. You will need to have a good level of manual dexterity and be comfortable working with a range of hand power tools. Any exposure to following assembly drawings / instructions would be ideal. Scope to learn wider skills, such as testing or soldering within the business too – very flexible to suit what you enjoy.

Salary & Package: c£11.00 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience. Flex time, days only pattern with an early Friday finish. Overtime is paid at x1.5 hourly rate.

This Assembly Operative job will suit:

• An individual with previous production and assembly experience.

• Strong manual dexterity and has used a range of hand tools.

• Attention to detail and appreciates the need to get quality right first time.

The Assembly Operative job will involve:

• Using hand tools to assembly mechanical products.

• Following assembly instructions and reading basic drawings.

• Ensuring products are assembly to quality standards.

• Supporting wider areas of the business / colleagues when required.
