HR Assistant

If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an appealing role for you! Based in Leicester, you will be primarily responsible to support various UK & Ireland businesses for employees and contingent workers, with emphasis on payroll and employee on/off boarding.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Be responsible for coordinating processes associated with employee on and off boarding, transfers, promotions and other payroll changes. Working with payroll and corporate compliance timescales whilst maintaining 100% data integrity within Oracle HCM. Update payroll logs with all changes. Save documents to the employee/contingent worker file. Send leaver letters to HRBP/HR Manager. Send pension leaver forms to Payroll department. To check and coordinate the month end payroll process with Payroll department and EBS Team in Cluj;
• Process spot awards, long service payments and general bonus payments. Letters in support of these payments when appropriate;
• Manage the process with company car providers to provide them with starter/newly eligible employee information. Advise provider of employee leavers. Monthly report for LeasePlan and Arval to advise of driver changes, cost centre and address changes;
• General HCM updates for cost centre changes, location changes, job title changes etc.;
• Back up for the offer letters and contract of employment to internal and external candidates. Drafting and issuing addenda;
• Assist with management of the HR Services email in box;
• Administer the eye care voucher scheme for UK and Ireland;
• Issue HR Communication email on a weekly basis;
• Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Experience of working at administration level within a matrix organization;
• Previous use of HR databases, ideally Oracle;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Excellent organization skills.
