Working in healthcare is more than just a job. It’s a chance to change lives. Join the team at The Farndon Unit in Newark as an Assistant Psychologist and help some of the most vulnerable people society.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To hold a caseload of clinical work, including carrying out individual psychological intervention
- Undertake collaborative risk assessment and management for individual patients and to provide general advice
- Carry out these duties in consultation with the Lead Psychologist and identified supervisor, and contribute to the maintenance and development of a high quality psychological service
To be successful in this role, you'll need
- Experience of working within a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit/Acute Mental Health Setting
- 2:1 Psychology degree
- To meet professional practice expectations and the BPS code of ethics
- A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR)
