Location: We are flexible on location and will support you to work flexibly from home (providing a suite of IT equipment), whilst coming together on site to offer face to face support and collaboration when required

Join EDF as the Manager of Quality & Partnering and you will support the growth and development of the Quality Assurance capability within our Wholesale Market Services (WMS) team whilst directly contributing towards EDF’s ambition of helping Britain achieve Net Zero.

We are looking for a talented people leader to manage the quality of both the solutions we deliver internally and those we receive from our external partners.

You will be joining the Wholesale Market Services (WMS) Run Service, which looks after the IT Systems used by our WMS team. The team are responsible for managing the wholesale trading in EDF, including our 24/7 Shift Trading Team.

The opportunity…

As the Manager of Quality and Partnering within WMS, you will define our test strategy, build, and maintain relationships with our existing external partners and manage the quality of our solutions.

You will lead our existing team of permanent and contract Quality Assurance Analysts and build out the team to enable you to grow and develop the test capability within the function. You will be responsible for Quality Assurance across the full WMS suite of applications whilst also working with external offshore resources.

This is a brand-new role; therefore, you will have the autonomy to shape the team, define what your focus will be and make a significant impact building the test capability.

What we’re looking for…

As the Manager of Quality and Partnering, you will have experience of creating a test capability, leading a team, and working with external providers. Therefore, you will have strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

You will have experience working within a fast-paced team, working with a variety of technologies and show a good understanding of creating and defining a test strategy. We are looking for somebody with automated testing experience, an excellent quality assurance background and the ability to shape and mould a brand-new role.
