The role

The Social Media Content Creator will support the continued growth of the business, co ordinating social media content across all platforms.

Working closely with the wider Digital Content team, the successful candidate will ensure success by delivering the value defined in the Job description.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Co-ordinate and curate all in house content creation for all social media channels with a key focus across TikTok and Instagram reels platforms.

· Create varied dynamic and trending, best in class short form video content for all social media platforms with support from in house teams and freelance external support to required budgets.

· Ensure all content creation is commercially considered to pursue engagement, and sell through considering recent and historical sales data, stock levels and wider marketing and release activity.

· Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager and E-Commerce Producer to brief and plan content required from external shoots for product releases.

· Support the sourcing and communication of a diverse and brand relevant video/TikTok influencer roster and relationships, with a focus on driving in house and influencer produced high quality, innovative, and on-trend content.

· Provide strategic insights and ideation for content to reach and discover large and diverse audiences with high engagement.

· Manage the inventory and purchase strategy for all shoot samples, props and shoot equipment.

· Maintenance of Social Media platforms at pre-arranged times outside of Mon-Fri working hours.

· Support in the management, scheduling, and publishing of all social media content alongside the Social Media Co-Ordinator.

· Own and develop the Disturbia ‘voice’ across all channels, ensuring our brand values are maintained at all times.

· Additional duties – as required.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for what Disturbia is aiming to achieve as an organisation and the ability to be decisive, open and specific, whilst promoting acceptance, inclusion and respect.

They should be a fast learner and be dynamic in their approach as they will need to react quickly to ever changing environments.

Finally, they will be charismatic and confident, happy interacting with different audiences and peers.

Experience

· Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.

· Excellent visual story telling skills.

· A positive, can do and innovative working style and approach.

· Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.

· Minimum of 2 years experience growing and creating content for an exisiting public social media channel.

· Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.

· Strong experience and understanding of mobile video production for Tiktok / Instagram Reels

· Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

· Maintains excellent writing and language skills.

· Highly organised and able to communicate effectively with all members of the team.

· Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogosphere relevant to the company’s field.

· Effectively communicate information and ideas in written and graphic format.

· Highly professional in both written and verbal communication at all times.

· Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO and Google Analytics.

· Proficient with Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
