Job description
We require 2 x studio assistants to help us to prepare and package orders for our customers.
The roles will be based at offices 17-18 Big Yellow, 8-9 Rodney Road, Portsmouth. It is not possible to fulfil this role from home due to the large amount of equipment required.
These are part time roles and the hours will vary to meet business needs. This will be a zero hours contract and we cannot guarantee a minimum amount of hours per week. The hours will primarily be within school hours, but there may be the possibility of completing work during evenings and weekends if necessary once training has been provided by mutual agreement.
This is a permanent role, with a four week probationary period.
Job Responsibilities
Tying wish bracelets – attaching charms to pieces of wax cotton cord, tying them around card and placing inside packaging.
Cutting and tying pieces of twine and attaching them to wooden products.
Printing and cutting pieces of card using a paper trimmer.
Making seed bombs.
Sanding and preparing wood for printing.
Printing off Royal Mail postage labels via click and drop.
Accurately packaging up orders and applying postage labels.
Checking personalisation details of orders via our website, Etsy, Amazon, Ebay and any other marketplaces.
Preparation of print files using Adobe Illustrator.
Operation of UV flatbed printer, various other printers, foiling machine and presses.
Listing and maintaining products on Etsy, Amazon, Shopify and Ebay
Responding to customer emails and queries via Social media.
Manage social media, add posts, respond to customers to increase engagement.
Required Skills
Computer literacy.
Ability to pick up tasks quickly from written instructions and videos in addition to face to face training.
Ability to work at speed under pressure.
Desirable experience
Familiarity with Facebook & Instagram Business pages
Use of Adobe illustrator & Adobe Acrobat
Use of Royal Mail Click & Drop
Use of Etsy
Use of Amazon Seller Central
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
It is not possible to fulfil this role from home due to the large amount of equipment required. Our office space allows for social distancing between employees and PPE and sanitizing equipment will be provided if required.
