We are looking for professional, resilient individuals who want to make a difference! The role of an NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner is a challenging fast-paced role that requires great attention to detail, empathy and a calm diplomatic approach.

DHU Healthcare is a ‘not-for-profit’ community interest company providing a diverse range of services to the NHS frontline, including urgent and emergency care, primary care, out of hours services and NHS111. We operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day across a wide geographical area including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire; Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland; Lincolnshire, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and The West Midlands – a population totalling around ten million. A day in the life of an NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner with DHU will involve:

  • Working as a part of a compassionate & professional team.

  • Delivering safe, effective & patient focused care.
  • Autonomous practice without direct supervision
  • Applying robust clinical knowledge to the validation of ambulance & A&E department outcomes

To be a successful NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner you’ll need:

  • Registered adult nurse with the NMC, Paramedic registered with the HCPC or a pharmacist registered with the GPC
  • Evidence of autonomous practice qualification – such as AP A33
  • Level 6 or 7 minor illness module
  • RCN Accredited nurse practitioner module or ECP qualification
  • Good Level of IT / PC skills
  • Be motivated, passionate, positive, resilient and determined to provide the best care.

*Remote Workers must live 30+ miles from any of the above site & be NHS 111 Pathways Trained with a minimum of 12 months current experience on the current version of Pathways

If you live over 30 miles away from site but do not have NHS 111 Pathways training, we can offer onsite training / work for 8 months with progression to then work remotely.
