Production Operative

Position: Production Line Operative
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Location: Wisbech
Salary & any shift premiums: £25,325.30 (£12.10 per hour)
Shift patterns: Four On , Four Off - Days and Nights (Rotating Shifts)
Overtime available: If available there is 1.5 shift premium on top of the salary/hourly rate

The key responsibilities in this role include;

• Working on a production line with a team of colleagues
• Work 12 hour shifts
• Ensuring correct packaging and labelling
• Product quality checks
• Be responsible for maintaining and complying with Health & Safety standards
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area
• Supporting your colleagues and managers to achieve orders
• To undertake in a safe, effective and efficient manner whilst operating machinery within the factory

What do we need from you?

Insert requirements, MHE experience? Warehouse experience? Chill departments? Heavy lifting?

• Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment
• Operating IT-systems and processing paperwork as required
• Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
