What will you do?
As the Communications Manager your primary responsibility is for the production and maintenance of engaging content. Positioning Marketing Services by DerbySoft as a partner of choice to our target audience, and to develop and implement marketing content for internal and external audiences and to develop and implement marketing content for internal and external audiences including our employees, our customers, our partners, our stakeholders, and the media.
Managing and creating content for the website, intranet, print publications and social media and external news- Develop and implement effective communication activities for external customers
- Ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency of posting via digital channels
- Handle media enquiries and create effective news releases to gain positive press coverage
- Supporting Sales and Customer event organisation and Execution
- Own and manage the relationships, activities, and communication with organisations benefiting from our partner programs
- Developing a company’s voice that’s in line with branding and values
- Communicating with customers to promote brand and products
- Creating and managing release dates for recurring publications
- Developing long-term communications strategies
- Provide and deliver effective communications training for employees
- Ability to problem solve any relevant issues with a logical and analytical approach
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and company wide
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required, which are deemed necessary to assist with the needs of the company
What do we need?
Experience of producing a range of marketing materials
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- A capable organiser, used to meeting deadlines
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Knowledge and a good understanding of design tools (Adobe, InDesign etc)
- Exemplary verbal and excellent written communication skills
