Retail Shop Assistant

We are looking for a Retail Shop Assistant to join our Sittingbourne shop team on a part time basis. The post holder will support the shops trading operation and help maximise the potential revenue from shoppers.

You will be receiving and sorting donations, which requires a good level of understanding of High Street and High-End retail fashion. You will have previous experience in a customer facing environment, good communication and customer service skills are essential. You will have good IT skills including use of Microsoft packages.

You will have the ability to adapt to a changing workload, using your own initiative and effectively manage your time. The role involves working alongside and assisting in the management and development of a team of dedicated volunteers; you will have the skills to prioritise workload and provide guidance and training.

You will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written skills and have the ability to undertake computer work. This role will require moving and handling. Hours will be worked on a Sunday and bank holidays, however there will be a need for some flexible working across the seven-day trading week.
