Graphics Operator - tennis

Position:

We're fully flexible. If it suits your role at Deltatre, you can work full time from home/remotely, from the office, or a combination within the same country as your contracted office of employment.

The business unit hiring for this role is SPORT.

A Leader in sport experiences, officiating and data collection, distribution and rendering in the sports ecosystem.

The Graphics Operator will be part of the Live, Servicing and Operations team who provide cutting-edge graphics, data gathering, data distribution and operations to global sports and entertainment customers.

During pre-match, live and post-match you will be continuously in contact with the production crew (TV director, producer etc.) to offer graphics live on screen.

Your aim will be to propose and display on screen the most relevant and interesting content in order to enrich the storytelling of the event and to enhance fans’ experience. You’ll be responsible to propose the best caption to make TV production as rich as possible.

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be available for work during weekends and evenings. The successful applicant must be flexible and prepared to work occasional long hours.

Requirements:

• Viz Trio, Viz Artist, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop experience (desirable)
• The ability to acquire technical skills and understand bespoke applications quickly (essential)
• Computer literate and thoroughly confident with Windows operating systems (essential)
• A broadcast or IT background (desirable)
• Experience of live TV graphics operations (desirable)
• Interest in 3D graphic design (desirable)

Personal:

• A detailed understanding of, and passion for tennis
• Candidates should be intelligent, enthusiastic and inquisitive and be comfortable working in a high-pressure live broadcast environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time-management
• Ability to problem solve effectively under pressure
• Candidates should also be comfortable in client facing situations
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Confident and resourceful
• A proven interest in the broadcast sector
