The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is leading Fylde Coast hotel with a reputation for great customer experience. We are currently expanding our Spa & Leisure team and are looking to recruit a Health Club & Spa Receptionist with an eye for detail and a great customer service skills. The Dalmeny Health Club & Spa is passionate about making sure all our clients and guests enjoy their stay with us and leave with lasting happy memories.
Early shifts may start as early as 6:00am and late shifts finishing at 9:30pm.
We have both full time and part time positions available.
THE PERSON
The successful applicant must be a positive, collaborative and enthusiastic individual with previous experience working in a spa or leisure facility.
They must also be available to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure that all existing and potential customers receive an efficient, friendly and helpful Spa & Leisure service.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports directly to the Spa & Leisure Manager.
- Interacts with other members of the Spa & Leisure team
- Interacts with guests and clients
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the gym is clean and free of health and safety hazards
- Organised with an ability to work face to face and phone call enquires with the ability to work well under pressure
- Has numerical skills and communication skills
- Has good IT skills
- Carry out cleaning duties as required
- Be able to follow daily work sheets, following the standard operating procedure set by the Hotel Manager.
- Good selling skills in order to advise the guest/client to the correct treatments/products and maximise on revenue opportunities
- Friendly and confident personality with an approachable attitude
- Reliable and flexible attitude to the role and duties
- Presentable and polished to be able to lead by example
- Effect a professional handover procedure to ensure continuity throughout shifts
- Assist in dealing with complaints and customer queries
- Carry out specific duties as and when required by the Spa & Leisure Manager
- Answer telephone and in-person queries related to Spa & Leisure services and resolves any issues
- Handle payments through cash and credit cards
Our chosen candidate will be asked to complete Emergency Response Swimming Pool training course, so the ability to swim is essential.

Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour
