The Digital Ad Operations team is a modern and ever-evolving team that delivers a high volume of digital advertising campaigns for both our customers and internal brands. The team of delivery experts works closely with the Commercial Content, Creative and Commercial Development departments to ensure all campaigns are delivered to the expected benchmarks and beyond. The team is at the heart of the DC Thomson digital operation and is a vital resource for the company to achieve digital growth.

As a Digital Operations Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the wider ad-operations team with the successful management of a high volume of digital campaigns for our advertisers and brands
  • Delivering dynamic multi-platform advertising campaigns across various platforms and systems Including Facebook, Instagram and Google Ad Manager
  • Optimising campaigns to ensure they achieve all required benchmarks
  • Analysing results and record them on all associated administration
  • Coordinating with Commercial Content, Creative and Sales teams to ensure you have all assets required to achieve deadlines
  • Work with the Commercial Development team to create post campaign analysis reports

Key to your success will be effective communication, people skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced/agile environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional writing and language skills, plus business-level computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new products and solutions quickly
  • A keen interest in the opportunity presented by emerging commercial channels (search, social media, email marketing)
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills
  • The ability to learn and adapt to digital platform changes

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week from our Aberdeen, Dundee or Glasgow Office. The role presents the opportunity of hybrid working that must include regular office attendance.
