General Summary
Reporting directly to the National Transport Manager, the Transport Administrator will provide basic administrative support to the Transport team.
Working closely with both the Transport Regional Manager and Hub Team Leaders, to ensure effective daily compliance of transport operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce Consolidated Morning Report Tacho Downloads/Uploads to Vision Vehicle Service planning (Liaise with all service providers)
- Maintain HGV servicing calendar
- Provide administration support to hubs (Uniform ordering, maintaining driver contact lists, PPE, Stationery, etc)
- Maintain Vehicle Servicing Records and MOTs Monitor vehicle walkaround checks and follow up actions as required
- Check invoice data prior to management sign off Producing full time driver hours/overtime report
- Maintaining agency driver hours spreadsheet Ordering fuel cards and ensuring usage compliance Work closely with new drivers line manager to facilitate new starter checklist process
- Administrate the maintenance of delivery information sheets
- Monitor all group transport emails traffic and action/escalate/cascade as required
- Maintenance of all transport related systems-R2C, Vision, Velocity, Verilocation, Wholesale & Workday Produce Reports for Sales Team when requested (time at location reports) Drop Sequences (keep phone in run order)
Skill and Experience
Essential
- Educated to high school standard
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills & background
- MS office skills, i.e., Word , Excel, PowerPoint
