The Role


As the International Advice & Immigration Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support for the immigration and fee assessment process, to include the regulation assessment of applicants and compliance. You will support international students through the application and student journey from the application and pre-arrival process to their arrival to commence their studies. You will provide excellent customer service to students through various methods including one-to-one meetings and online communications.


You will be responsible for the delivery of workshops and presentations in relation to visa extensions to key cohorts to ensure successful visa applications and maintenance of the BCA compliance thresholds.


You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve immigration queries such as identifying the appropriate UKVI application route for students, compliance implications which may arise during student journey and provide advice on eligibility criteria for categorise including BRP replacements, ATAS, TOC, Single Entry Vignette and student specific work categories. You will also be responsible for escalating as required to maintain the OISC standards for advice.


Person Specification


  • Educated to A-Level, a degree would be advantageous
  • Experience of event and visit organisation and delivery
  • Experience of administrative and office systems and procedures
  • Experience of working with English as second language speakers and people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds
  • Experience of providing advisory service in a HEI environment would be advantageous
