A bit about the role...
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager – Food, you will support the food category, share best practice and teach ways of working – process and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management
  • Manage onboarding of new suppliers, running due diligence checks & uploading into Costa’s ERP platform(s)
  • Act as an interface between certain suppliers and relevant stakeholders on purchasing processes and activities
  • Collate key MI reporting for supplier performance and working with the wider Global Procurement Team to identify areas of improvement and implement where needed
Procurement
  • Responsible for SKU optimisation and tail rationalisation recommendations across the food portfolio, working closely with the Marketing Hub on all recommendations
  • You will track and provide relevant commodity price movement data to enable clear decision making to take place within the Global Procurement team
  • Assist Procurement Managers in tender / benchmarking processes inclusive of RFI, RFP & RFQ preparation and supplier response analysis
  • Support negotiations with suppliers and communicating price changes to all teams
Projects
  • Manage selected procurement projects with the support of the wider Global Procurement Team
  • Support the Food Procurement Managers with GPR submissions and gating requirements
  • Act as a conduit between the Food Procurement Team and Marketing Hub ensuring alignment on key project activities in line with the Food Strategy
Administration & Contracts
  • General administration support for the Food Procurement Team, focusing on best practices, knowledge management and KPI reporting
  • Responsible for drafting contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and managing maintenance of contracts to include extensions and variations
  • Own audit requirements and collations for audit
  • Supporting the Food team with RFA submissions and rebate invoicing where necessary
  • Ensure purchase orders are accurately placed
  • Custodian of the Commodity tracker, tracking inflation/deflation across core commodities
  • Maintain and update the Price Change tracker and communicate across all stakeholders
  • Maintenance of the Contract Management and Supplier Database

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system would be beneficial
  • Experience working with stakeholders in customer focused and decentralised organisations is preferable
