Do you like to create – build – weld – work with wood? If so, you could be a good candidate for our in-house fabrication department.
At Conscapes, our fabrication department brings together design, research, and fabrication to build and deliver projects from concept to completion.
Our landscape architecture/construction division will work closely with the in-house fabrication department to develop custom site furnishings, timber benches, metal & wood landscape elements along with site specific concrete items.
Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of site furnishings (Planters, benches and combine repurposed timber, wood, metal, and sustainable materials into built items)
- Hands-on fabrication and installation of wood, metal, and concrete items that we design.
- Assist in design - build process with the landscape design department for site furnishings and other fabrication items as the project develops.
- Collaborate with design staff on detailing, proto-typing and mockups.
- Perform on-site measurements as needed and verify field conditions.
- Calculate the size and amount of material needed for projects, facilitate ordering.
- Manage fabrication schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used for fabrication.
- Experience working in metalworking & carpentry.
- Can weld, and work with power tools in a safe manner.
- Experience reading and building from drawings.
- Experience using Auto-Cad, Sketch-Up, and Vectorworks.
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Dependable, hard-working, versatile, and passionate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.15 per hour
