To be eligible you must be:
  • Over 18 and have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Going into your final year of higher education in Autumn 2023
  • Able to come to our London office on a daily basis
  • Available from 5th June to August 11th 2023

The Team
The Condé Nast Legal team is led by the General Counsel based in our London HQ Office and is comprised of colleagues in London as well as our Legal teams based in our various markets around the world (USA, China, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, Mexico, India, Japan and Taiwan). We are also supported by a network of outside counsel where necessary and work closely with colleagues in Advance Legal, the parent Company.

What will you be doing?
  • This position will see you shadow and support our in-house lawyers in the areas we cover: Revenue and Commercial, IP, Data Protection, Corporate, and Employment and Compliance.
  • Specific tasks, experiences and responsibilities will differ as you assist our different team members. However, in each, you will learn and experience legal skills. This role may involve partnering with all our international Legal and Policy team members, which will give you exposure to witness how global legal matters are advised in practice.

Who you are:
  • Studying for a degree (in any subject) or equivalent, such as a level 6 or 7 apprenticeship or a level 6 or 7 professional qualification;
  • Interest in legal and policy matters, as well as be passionate about the media industry;
  • Prior work experience would be desirable but not essential;
  • Personable approach with strong relationship and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong desire to learn new subject matter and skills;
  • Confident and enthusiastic individual with a work hard ethic;
  • Ability to organise and prioritise effectively, with good attention to detail;
  • Ability to approach problems and tasks in a pragmatic, proactive and creative fashion; and
  • Positive “can do” attitude who can work to instructions independently
