Now there is a fantastic opportunity for a curious and passionate Payroll & Finance Accountant to join our Northern Europe Hub Team. Could this be you?

Payroll Responsibilities

• Review monthly stock option and Restricted Stock Unit exercise information, and ensure appropriately handled in payroll

• Validate payroll output from payroll provider and work closely with HR to ensure accuracy of the payroll prior to its release

• Payroll postings into SAP - monthly payroll journals and bonus accruals et

• Manage Intercompany payroll billings (review, GL coding, accruals)

• Report pension and share scheme data to 3rd parties, and ensure timely payment of

• Responsible for monthly reconciliations of the payroll related accounts both balance sheet and P&L

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls

• Support internal and external audits

• Provide all required information to KPMG and coordinate employee tax return preparation and expat P11D reporting

• Completion of annual HMRC reporting (P11D and Stock Option/RSU/Share related filings)

• Ensure timely payments of HMRC liabilities (monthly/PAYE, annual/P11D, annual/tax returns)

• Quarterly and Annual payroll reporting to the US

• Ensure timely payments of Revenue liabilities (Ireland)

• Submission of stock option related reporting on ROS (Ireland)

• Managing Concur (Travel booking and expense claim system) and responsible for employee training and processing

Financial Accounting Responsibilities

• Ad hoc team tasks (could be but not limited to the below)
  • Preparation of material to auditors
  • Quarterly CFN reviews
  • Vendor creation
  • Sox test
  • Transfer pricing material
  • Various requests from corporate
  • Initiate payments etc

Competencies Required

• Detailed working knowledge of UK PAYE system
• Up to date with HMRC payroll legislation
• Like to get knowledge about Nordic payroll
• AAT/CIMA part qualified at minimum, CIPP qualification would be helpful
• Advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and, ideally SAP
• Works with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Like working with different countries
• Structured and organised
• Like working in autonomy
