The Role:

Due to increasing demand across our Isle of Wight region with Southern Water, Clancy are looking to recruit a new permanent Grab Driver to support contract operations across our water network.

You will assist site teams with the safe operation of vehicle and plant machinery in relation to backfilling and the clearance of arisings.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in...

• You will support operational contracts through multi-drop activities relating to vehicle and plant machinery
• Maintain driver qualifications and complete daily operational/maintenance checks on your vehicle
• Ensure sites are safe prior to starting & following the completion of work
• Comply with mobile device operation for the completion of daily work tasks
• Comply with legal and legislative policies and procedures in relation to health safety and environmental policies and the highway code
• Ensure that management information systems are accurate and up to date at all times

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

A full & valid UK driving licence, appropriate for HGV Class 2 with demonstrable experience
NRSWA qualification/Streetworks tickets
CPC
Approved HIAB Operator
Telescopic Handler Operator qualification is highly desirable
