IBOR Oversight Analyst - 6 month fixed term contract(hybrid)

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for acting in a technical SME capacity across all IBOR BAU and Project activity for a key Citi client. This includes daily reporting and reconciliation reviews, KPI monitoring, issue resolution, new development implementation and controls and procedures reviews. You will also work alongside other departments across various Global sites on BAU and projects which affect the IBOR product.

Job background/ context:

You will report to the Senior Manager of the IBOR Oversight team, which is part of Citi middle office. The IBOR Oversight TEAM are a critical team in the Middle Office servicing a platinum client and working across multiple teams and stakeholder across the business. The team overseas is a number of production teams Globally including Warsaw, India, Singapore and Dublin and daily interaction and communication is an important aspect of the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake oversight reviews of the daily IBOR data and key reconciliations deliverables to ensure client records and systems are accurate.
• Daily reviews of MI and KPI’s to ensure accuracy and timeliness are being maintained.
• Perform periodic and thematic reviews of MIS and key reports and deliverables to ensure negative trends are identified and actions and plans are implemented to resolve.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and internal policies are adhered to. Input into risk and compliance reviews both internal and with the client.
• Attendance at internal calls across production sites in India and Warsaw on a daily basis to monitor performance and delivery to clients, and ensure issues are identified and resolved.
• Investigation and resolution of complex queries and client queries in a timely manner.
• Attendance at client service review calls for both issue resolution and daily KPI reviews
• Actively look for efficiencies across all the production sites.
• Develop strong, pro-active relationships with all internal and external customers including client, offshore partners, client service and middle office teams.

Knowledge/ experience:

• Knowledge of Fund Accounting and / or Middle Office including reconciliations, NAV production, trade processing, derivatives, corporate actions
• In-depth knowledge of operational process.
• Experience of analysing data and reconciliations.
• Quality Assurance and checking
• Understanding of clients businesses and our impact on them

Qualifications:

Recognised professional accounting or investments qualification or sound business knowledge and experience
