An exciting, challenging and rewarding role has opened up at Christ Church Epsom for a gifted administrator to join us as a vital member of the team. We are seeking an organised individual to ensure the smooth running of the Parish life, supporting staff and volunteers in the delivery of the various activities of the church and ensuring that communication is as effective as possible within our community.
Christ Church is a lively Anglican church, situated on the edge of Epsom Common and within easy walking distance of Epsom town centre. Our vision is to be "a Living Well and living well" as we seek to engage with people in our local community, and as we equip our current congregation to serve Jesus and share the Good News.
Key responsibilities will include: ·
- Managing the church office as an effective communications hub for all church life through the week as well as handle day-to-day venue bookings, invoicing, and church diary.
- Co-ordinating all church administration in an efficient and accurate manner, releasing pastoral and teaching staff for church growth.
- Managing social media communication on behalf of the church.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be well-organised, a team player and enjoy working alongside a variety of people from different backgrounds.
- Will have a secure working knowledge of common office IT including email, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Will have a creative approach to building the profile of the church to both current members and the wider community
- Marketing and social media expertise will be an advantage.
