Your role @Chanel:
Your role will be to deliver effective training courses covering the core product categories for F&B (Fragrance & Beauty) Induction. As part of this you will develop an in-depth knowledge of all CHANEL products across the three core product pillars. As a key business priority, this role will require a deep focus and development in Fragrance expertise.
You will be integral in the delivery of an engaging, progressive and impactful curriculum to support the needs of the Fragrance & Beaute Retail population.
You will also have the opportunity to represent the Training Department to deliver training events, such as the annual Consultant Conference, as well as other event programmes as required and as applicable.
You will assist with the timely design and preparation of all courses and course materials as and when needed, whilst ensuring that these materials are of a high standard using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
To support a blended learning approach, you will be required to create and adapt digital learning modules on Inside Beauty to further support BA learning pre, during and post-classroom training as well as at Point Of Sale.
You will work with a wide variety of people from other Departments and foster collaborative working relationships across the business.
This role will also require training and coaching support at the Point Of Sale in collaboration with the Field teams, to support the business priorities as and when required.
You will work closely with the Academy Training team to support all areas of the Training Academy, as required as well as working in collaboration with the broader Training Department.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
  • To always embody the Brand values and share those values with others.
  • Drawing on your previous Training experience and professional knowledge gained, deliver high quality of Training, and contribute to the efficient working of the Training team.
  • To liaise effectively with members of the Training team and other Departments, to collaborate, influence and problem solve as and when needed to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives.
  • Most importantly as part of the Training Department, you will develop training and training delivery to continually achieve the F&B Training priorities to support the wider F&B business goals and create business impact.
  • As part of the Training Department, you will help champion a learning culture throughout the wider business.
This is an impact-focused summary of the job and it’s helpful to note that responsibilities listed are not exhaustive; additional and more detailed duties will be shared during interview.
What you will bring to the role:
  • An approachable, unflappable, collaborative and team focused demeanour.
  • A highly motivated and committed approach, with a self-starting attitude.
  • Be an Ambassador for CHANEL who upholds company standards and embodies the culture and philosophy appropriately.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and create a team spirit, with a flair for collaboration, allowing you and the team to work as one with other Departments.
  • A personal passion for designing and delivering Training excellence.
  • Great communication and facilitation skills within the Training environment.
  • A strong problem-solving ability, to be able to evaluate different sources of information to make informed decisions.
  • A sharing mindset that will continually nourish a reflective and innovative approach to Training design and delivery.
  • Impeccable organisational skills, effortlessly balancing multiple priorities and deadlines as well as spontaneous scenarios.
  • Previous Training Experience within the Fragrance & Beauty Industry.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel desirable and considered an advantage.
You are energised by:
  • Designing and delivering highly engaging Training and being an aspirational CHANEL Ambassador.
  • Continually evaluating and innovating our Training approach and pushing creative boundaries.
  • Working in a highly collaborative environment that helps people be at their best.
  • Remaining agile and responding to the needs of the business, whilst embracing change, sometimes at short notice.
  • Creating an inspirational, aspirational, and supportive work environment within your team and beyond.
What you would gain from this experience:
  • The opportunity to represent one of the most well-known luxury global brands, delivering Training excellence.
  • Be part of an energising, ambitious, and agile team that have achieved much and are looking to do more.
  • Collaboration with different Departments throughout the wider business and a variety of work.
  • The satisfaction of being part of helping to train, coach and develop others, in particular (but not limited to), the BA population and wider Retail teams.
At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress. We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity and effectiveness of our teams. We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience and potential you could bring to CHANEL.
