We have a unique opportunity for a Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team across multiple outlets. Mix of shift patterns available. Permanent and fixed term positions available.

THE ROLE – FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT

The scope of the role of Food and Beverage Assistant is to create a warm welcome and create special memories through exceptional service of Food and Beverage which exceeds guests expectations everytime

• Confident menu and service knowledge
• Preparing for service - Mise en place
• Cleanliness and presentation of your section
• Setting tables with crockery, cutlery and glass wear
• Liaison with the kitchen team and clear communication of special dietary requirements
• Service of food and accompaniments
• Clearing tables and resetting for next service
• Requisitions and secure handling of stock
• Providing recommendations and taking orders
• Mixing, garnishing, service and replenishment of premium drinks, cocktails, wines, champagnes and teas and coffees
• Checking satisfaction and handling additional requests and feedback
• Capturing guest preferences and special requests for future reference
• Billing, presentation and payments

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

• National 4/5 Qualifications in English and Maths or SVQ Level 2 in Hospitality/Food and Drink Service orequivalent qualifications
• Experience in a quality bar or restaurant environment
• Great interpersonal skills with an ability to confidently interact at all levels
• Strong communication skills
• WSET Level 2 and Food Hygiene Certification an advantage
• Basic IT skills and ability to use hand held technology
• For some of our FB Assistant roles you must be a minimum age 18 years (licencing requirement)
