We’re looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Recovery Coach to join us working for the Recovery Coach Team. The coach will support users of the adult locality team, Cameo, and Personality Disorder Service to move back to the care of their GP. We currently have a vacancy in the Cambridge area.

YOU
  • Will support the development of an innovative service which offers transitional support and navigation for people who are struggling with being discharged from CPFT secondary services, and carers, and navigate to third sector providers and wider community resources as the need dictates.
  • Will provide a coaching role to people receiving services, and their carers, ensuring effective transition from Trust services to the third sector and community resources. The Recovery Coach Team will also be required to negotiate rapid re-access to CPFT clinical services should the need arise.
WE
  • Are a compassionate, supportive and professional service that will actively support your growth and development.
  • Achieve and always seek to be the best we can be through teamwork and a clear vision.
Work with CPFT teams, the third sector organisations and the wider community to help people receiving secondary mental health services feel more empowered to access activities and resources of their choice.

To work in a co-produced and recovery focused manner assisting people receiving secondary mental health services to transition more seamlessly through statutory and third sector mental health services and into the wider community.

To work in a coaching manner, exploring ways of goal setting with people to help them achieve their ambitions.

These services include Children, Adult & Older Peoples mental & physical health, Forensic & Specialist mental health, Learning Disabilities, Primary Care & Liaison psychiatry, Substance misuse, Social care, Research & Development.

To achieve our goal, we look to recruit high calibre candidates that share our vision & values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under-represented groups including disabled people & members of our ethnic minorities & LGBTQ+ communities.

Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities.
  • To support service users with transitioning from secondary care into primary care.
