As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will have the following responsibilities: Responsibilities:
- Managing the authorisation process to ensure timely approval of invoices by the relevant team members
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and reconciling them with purchase orders
- Recording invoice payments accurately in our financial system and ensuring bank payments are properly reconciled
- Ensuring prompt payment of proforma invoices and proper recording of final tax invoices in our financial system
- Processing payment runs every two months, ensuring adherence to agreed terms for invoice and expense payments
- Collaborating with suppliers to address and resolve queries
- Assisting in the month-end closing process and ensuring adherence to closing deadlines
The requirements from you:
To excel in this role, we expect the following qualifications and skills:
- Extensive experience in high-volume accounts payable, including exposure to multi-currencies (EUR/USD/GBP)
- Sound understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Demonstrated ability to accurately input and process invoices efficiently
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
