Account Manager

Terry de Gunzburg is an industry legend who, over the course of the past 30 years, has been changing the face of beauty through the invention of countless products and formulas, including the iconic Baume de Rose lip balm. Today, BY TERRY offers customers revolutionary foundations, innovative mascaras, and long-lasting lipstick formulas, as well as a 'couture' beauty line of bespoke cosmetics.

Responsibilities

Trading Relationships

• Establish and maintain amazing relationships at all levels within your designated accounts, including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure that the By Terry brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility, and exposure.
• Conduct successful commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, visibility, and support with Buying and Merchandising teams.

Driving Performance

• Ensure a top-line and detailed understanding of retail context, category, and individual retailer performance to identify retail opportunities and strategic needs.
• Own all net sales forecasting for defined retailers, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner.
• Deliver limitless plans to drive brand visibility and growth.
• Ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Supply Chain and Demand Planning.
• Drive Sell-in of new launches and analyse business performance on an ongoing basis proposing recommendations to improve sales.
• Ensure the flawless operations with the retailer including GWP/ Sampling program planning working closely with demand planning & supply chain.

Cross-Functional Working

• Work closely with Brand, Trade Marketing and PR to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailer covering: activation of key launches and marketing moments, eventing, store/retailer animation, considering both customer acquisition and retention. Review implementation and performance vs expectations on a regular and appropriately frequent basis.
• For new markets or trading partners, onboard and build out bespoke launch plans appropriate to the market and retailer to reach and sustain #1 ranking.
• Act as the key point of contact with the account, managing & addressing daily requests, working closely with internal cross-functional teams.

Trade Marketing

• Developing & supporting with bespoke Trade Marketing Plans to support individual retailers.
• Tracking Activity Budget Spend regularly.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience with Key Account Management in a structured corporate environment.
• Experience of beauty, skincare, or cosmetics in a sale related role.
• Fully Bi-Lingual (French/English speaking). Additional European language a plus.
• Expert use of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Detail Orientated, Organized and great communicator.
• Strong understanding of multi-door retail operations
• Experience with inventory and retail math, retail metrics and commercial trading activities.

Fixed Term contract from June for 8 months
