Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant at Maypole Care Home you’ll ensure the care home remains functional at all times and our residents have a safe and comfortable environment. We’ll support you to get the most out of your career, including putting you through the City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

Friendly and approachable, you’ll have some understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold-water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, and plumbing. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards and have knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and compliance. You can work flexibly to meet demands and you’re always happy to help the wider team. You’ll enjoy working with others and building relationships with our residents.
