Broxap is a family owned engineering business based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, established in 1946. We are market leaders in the design and manufacture of street furniture, shelters, covered walkways and playground equipment.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
Holidays: 25 days holiday entitlement, plus 8 bank holidays

The Role:*
To strengthen our workforce we are looking to recruit a Fork Lift Truck Driver to join our busy Goods Inward department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start of shift fork lift truck check and record log.
- Receiving deliveries and checking quantity and quality.
- Report any delivery discrepancies.
- Efficiently deliver and store items into allocated location.
- Receipt and recording of all returns (RMA's), including correct labelling & locating, plus subsequent notification to RMA mail group.
- Pick goods for despatch against hard copy pick lists.
- Assist with counting of stock items.
- Directing collection drivers to correct pick-up point and issuing necessary paperwork, including own collections.
- Checking despatch paperwork matches manifest, and obtaining collection driver’s signature.
Experience and Required Skills:
- Fork lift truck licence (essential).
- IT and great organisational skills.
- Experience in a Goods Inward role.
- Bank yardsman awareness
- The ability to multi-task and to be flexible in the role.
- Self-motivation.
