Graduate Engineer (South)

XEIAD are the largest provider of civil infrastructure inspections in the UK.

Specialising in difficult access our teams have extensive experience inspecting structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, and shafts across industry sectors such as Rail, Highways, Marine, Utilities and Defence.

We are currently engaged in the delivery of numerous projects throughout the UK for and on behalf of many asset owners, managers and a large diversity of engineering consultancies including Network Rail, National Highways, Balfour Beatty, Kier and Atkins to name just a few.

As a Graduate Engineer you will assist in undertaking structural inspections and testing on a variety of civil infrastructure including structure types such as bridges, buildings, retaining walls and towers. You will be undertaking inspections to a variety of inspection standards including rail, highways and defence and producing inspection reports to a high standard ensuring that all works are undertaken safely and in accordance with XEIAD Policies and Procedures.

Projects will be primarily involving difficult access therefore you must be prepared to learn and implement specialist access techniques such as confined space, rope access, working on or under water and working at height.

Skills and Experience

• Degree or HNC/HND in civil or structures engineering
• Medically fit (pass pre-employment medical and ongoing medicals, including Drug and Alcohol tests).
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
