What you’ll do

You’ll be joining our Distribution & Payments team in London, where you will take a leading role as part of the distribution & payments strategy and policy team. You’ll represent distribution across British Airways commercial team, influencing stakeholders to promote strategic distribution initiatives. We want you champion continuous improvement and proactively identify opportunities for business improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Take ownership for implementing cross-departmental decisions to ensure consistency across our contracts and processes as well as alignment with our strategic objectives
  • Act as a subject matter expert to define and implement contracts and processes to reduce cost and risk whilst increasing revenue
  • Develop effective working relations with key interfaces across British Airways and IAG including, legal, sales and other stakeholders

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for multi-tasking, flexible and agile self-starters with an eagerness to learn the unknown and support our commercial team in driving change.

You should have:

  • Strategically minded with experience of prioritising & delivering projects
  • Demonstrable commercial and business acumen with the ability to evaluate, analyse and solve problems.
  • Experience working with contracts or an understanding of legal documentation and terminology
  • Ideally have knowledge or experience of how airlines distribute their products either through Airlines, Travel Agents or Technology Providers (e.g. GDS)
