Assistant General Manager - The Cricketers - Worthing

The Site

The Cricketers is a traditional pub based in Broadwater, Worthing. We have just reopened after an extensive refurbishment and new kitchen.

We serve a good selection of quality drinks including lots of local real ales, craft beers and local sparkling wines. our menu is traditional British food, using fresh seasonal ingredients.

We need a full time Assistant General Manager to support our General Manager run our busy pub . We are looking for someone to take on this role who wants to learn and progress within the hospitality industry. The role would suit an Assistant Manager looking to take the next step into management.

Ideal experience / candidate

· A people person, with a love for hospitality

· Positive thinker, capable of using initiative

· Previous supervisor experience

· Great attention to detail

· Confident with all aspects of food service

· Comfortable cashing up & locking up

· Cellar management including handling real ales

· Have a clear grasp of stock control and the ability to do line checks

· Must hold a personal licence
