General Assistant - 30 hours per week - including alternate weekends
Garden Sundries department. 11am-5pm / 12pm-6pm shifts. Monday day off each week. Opportunity for overtime during peak trade.

As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Replenishment of stock using stock rotational guidelines
- Creating visual and inspirational displays to help sell products
- General shop floor maintenance and housekeeping
- Assisting customers with advice and heavy lifts.
- Using the EPOS system
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
- Follow guidelines on action points following reports and floor-walks
- Work in other departments of the garden centre if requested
- Till operation
- Driving a fork lift truck to assist with replenishment of compost and aggregates (previous experience desirable, or full training provided).
This is a permanent position. Heavy lifting required.

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
