Bouygues Energies & Services has recently been awarded a new contract to oversee a new University of Essex halls of residence recently built by our sister company ‘Bouygues UK’ in Colchester. To oversee this contract we need to recruit a new estates team and thus we have an immediate need for a Service Manager from a Soft FM background.

Key Activities:

• Reporting to the Operations Manager
• To be responsible for all operational systems and assets within a student accommodation building and to develop operational solutions for all soft services
• To manage the daily performance of services and incorporate a detailed understanding of service requirements and deductions, utilising the Maximo CAFM system as the integrated operational system
• Be the direct interface on operational planning and delivery of service to our client providing a compliant & safe environment and ensuring we meet client expectations
• To promote the highest standards of customer care and to monitor the quality of all services provided
• To assist contractual performance in accordance with agreed budgets, compliance with the performance monitoring systems, and continually enforce cost efficiencies
• To recruit, select, motivate, and develop staff to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have a background in Soft FM: cleaning/front of house; Hard FM experience is desirable but not essential
• IOSH/COSHH qualification essential
• Previous experience in a student accommodation environment is desirable
• Good forward planning and organisational skills
• Will have first class customer care skills with proven ability to consistently go the extra mile
• Sound IT skills and able to communicate with people at all levels
