HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver

Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently recruiting for Class 2 Moffett Drivers to work for a well-established company in Croydon.

The role involves driving Class 2 Vehicles operating the mounted forklift to complete the customer deliveries to various sites, private addresses and new developments.

Duties:

➢Daily vehicle safety checks
➢Compliance with legislation - drivers hours, highway regulations
➢Checking vehicle loads are secure
➢Delivering builders materials and other products

Requirements:

➢Full UK driving licence ( Category C ) with no more than 6 points
➢Up to date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
➢Up to date Moffett Certificate - Essential
➢You must be able to operate the mounted forklift on delivery/collection.
➢Previous experience completing deliveries
➢No major traffic offences - No DR,DD, TT99 or NI codes accepted

Your Moffett Certificate must be accredited by one of the below bodies:

➢RTITB - Road Transport Industry Training Board
➢ITSSAR - Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register
➢NORS - National Operator Registration Scheme
➢AITT - Association of Industrial Truck Trainers
➢NPORS - National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

Working Hours:

➢Monday – Friday
➢Start times vary from 06:00 AM to 08:00 AM
➢8 hours shift guaranteed

PPE Required:

➢Hard Hat with a chin strap
➢Safety Boots
➢Hi-Vis Vest
