We aim to improve the day-to-day lives of ordinary people by providing simple and personalised financial guidance, for all aspects of life, no matter which stage of the journey. Our current product affordIQ is a phone app that helps first home buyers understand what homes they can afford now and in the future, while setting a budget to buy where and when they want.
We are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software applications and identifying any potential bugs or issues. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically. The Junior Quality Assurance Engineer will also be responsible for developing and executing test plans, creating automated tests, and providing feedback on the product’s overall quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Analyse test results and report defects.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Create bug reports and track their resolution.
- Document and track software issues.
- Work with developers to ensure proper resolution of defects.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
