I am delighted to be recruiting for a lovely private care facility, found in Ballymena!
This nursing registered home which holds 61 beds and is divided into different units is looking to find a full-time and Part time nurse who will join the team there!
This is a facility that rarely recruits for new nurses, due to their long-term staff and low turnover.
With a near-perfect RQIA rating and zero complex care requirement, this facility is highly reviewed locally and by those with family members receiving care onsite.
For this role, you will need:
- An active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- An unrestricted nursing pin
- And prior experience working in a Dementia unit.

The role:
- Motivating patients to help restore and improve their health and self-esteem
- Providing medication to patients and providing pre- and post-operation care
- Providing psychological and physical support to parents, family members and friends
- Identifying patient care requirements
- Assuring the quality of care to patients through adhering to therapeutic standards
- Ensuring that patients and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures and substance control regulations
- Evaluating patients who complain of specific aliments
- Examining and authenticating vaccination records
