Architect / Designer (2-7 years’ experience)

As an Architect / Designer, you will be based in our London office together with 120+ BIGsters and you will be responsible for concept generation and delivery of projects of varying scale and typology in the UK and Middle East while working closely with a vibrant multidisciplinary team of architectural, urban design and landscape professionals.

• Strong conceptual, design and graphic skills
• Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration
• Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking.
• Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods in the UK
• Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
• Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
• Should have strong ability with Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Vray, Adobe Suite
• Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• The ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers.
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.

Required skills and experience:

• Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification
• 2-7 years post qualification experience as an Architect/Designer
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English - spoken and written.
• Experience with masterplans is a plus.
